Summer Books That We Want To Read Over and Over

There are some books that simply make you want to read them again and again. The thing about reading a book more than once is you start to appreciate different aspects of the story that you may have overlooked the first time. Movies can get boring after too many times watching, but the feeling a great book gives you never fades away. The books below are some of our summer favorites that we just want to keep on reading.

The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler is kind of like The Little Mermaid. A girl named Elyse d’Abreau was destined for stardom. That is, until a boating accident took everything from her. Now she she is unable to speak. With her beautiful voice taken from her, she moves from her home in the Caribbean to Oregon. There she meets a boy, and a crazy romance begins.

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera is great book that makes us want to read it again. The New York Times called this one a “mandatory reading." Although it’s a great read, it’s pretty heavy. Seventeen-year-old Aaron Soto struggles to find happiness after his father’s suicide during a summer in the Bronx.

How could we not want to read The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks over and over and over? The film adaptation is one of our favorite, but the book is just the absolute perfect book to read on the beach, don’t you think?
