Our newest writing contest is called “LIKE A DREAM Writing Contest.” After Nicole loses her fiancé Andrew, his ghost visits her at his funeral. Believing that this is her only chance to be with her love again, she takes her own life. Together again, Andrew and Nicole are on a mission to look after Nicole’s sister, Stephanie, so she doesn’t follow the same fate. Since we can’t get enough of Niedermaier’s new book, we want to use it for our next writing contest. We want YOU to write your own romance novel where a couple is separated by death. Remember, the more creative the better!

In Jacky Eubanks’ THE LAST TIME, Charley Mason moves from a small town in Georgia to New York. Because of her love of baseball and tomboy appearance, she is considered an outcast by her peers.

INDEPENDENT STUDY continues with Cia beginning her studies. But she soon discovers that although she gained admission into the University, no one is safe. With memories from her Testing experience, Cia must figure out whom she can trust so she can help shutdown the government’s dangerous program. Since we can’t get enough of Charbonneau’s second novel of the trilogy, we want to use it for our next writing contest. We want YOU to write your own dystopian novel where the main character must expose and shutdown a dangerous government program.

THE TESTING Writing Contest : Our newest writing contest is called “THE TESTING Writing Contest.” Sixteen-year-old Malencia Vale has just graduated from high school. She hopes to be chosen for the Testing, which is a United Commonwealth program that picks the smartest graduates to help rebuild the world after the Seven Stages War left most of it destroyed. Cia is chosen and is excited to have an opportunity at an education and career. The night before her departure, her father gives new insight into the program, leaving her more worried than excited. Since we love Charbonneau’s new book, we want to use it for our next writing contest! We want YOU to write your own dystopian novel where the main character must compete in a program to secure a coveted spot at the world’s only University. Remember, the more creative the better!

In Brittany Geragotelis’ novel, Hadley is a young teenager who’s a descendant of fhe first woman executed in the Salem Witch Trials – which means she has magical powers! She uses hers for good, but that’s not the case for every witch in LIFE’S A WITCH! Since we’re totally into this book at the moment, we thought we would use it for our next writing contest. In James Patterson’s latest novel, CONFESSIONS: THE PRIVATE SCHOOL MURDERS, the main character Tandy has to try and figure out if a serial killer is on the loose and uncover the secrets of the relationship she had with the only boy she’s ever known, even though she can’t seem to remember anything from their time together. Each character has secrets they are keeping hidden and Tandy is determined to find out everyone’s confessions. Since we’re totally into this book at the moment, we thought we would use it for our next writing contest. Write your own story about a character that reveals their powers after concealing them their whole life.
